okay so i have some plants germinating, and i put them in there like three days ago because i was going to plant them today but the weather in the next couple of days i think will be to cold for the little germlings. is it safe to put them outside, or leave them germinating for a couple more days? what should i do. and i have 15 more shishkaberry seeds that need to be germinated too...

What do you mean by "germinating"?

If the seed has a root showing, it should be in a RW cube or dirt, IMMEDIATELY.

A description would help...

whats so bad if the root is showin? i left mine in papertowls for 4 days because of stealth and cold reasons, 3 of 10 havent popped out of the soil yet

I guess I'm a bit of a perfectionist.

If I sprout ten seeds, I want ten plants.

Don't always get that but I do what I can.

Letting the sprouted roots get too long before planting can damage roots.

sometime it can take long than 3 or 4 day i just germ 40 seeds they all pop at different times some took 6 to 8 day but still came out good plant and if you don't disturb the paper towel it will be fine checking them often will mess up you root i had some root that was almost a 2 inch that i had to leave in cause of room but when planted was fine just be real gently

I had one break off the bottom 1/4 ish of the root on about a 2 inch root where i germinated to long, you have to be careful. However they all still came up out of the ground.

I put seeds in a folded wet paper towel, covered with a bit of plastic, and Germinate them till they "Crack". As soon as you see the shell start to open and you can see a small white root tip they are ready to be put in prepared cups of Soil.

Waiting longer will allow the roots to grow into the paper towel and removing them later can cause damage.

As soon as they start to crack start putting the open ones in cups and spray them a bit. The rest will all crack in a few days time.

Alright i had them in a plastic tub but i put them in soil and their already out of the ground. they should be good from now on, all i have to worry about is cold weather and animals.
