Too long of veg-time? Light-assisted outdoor.

My first season. This is one of my Gorilla Glue #4 20200711_115123_Film4.jpg20200711_115123_Film4.jpgplants that I received as a gallon-potted clone of about 4 weeks, I'm guessing. It was put outside soon after receiving around March 28th, so probably rooted as a clone around the end of February, where it was kept indoor under 18/6 light cycle almost until I put it outside with a timered light that kept it on 18/6 until June 1st.
It is now July 11th, and the natural light doesn't drop to a full 12/12 cycle until around Sept. 28th.-
TL:DR- Is vegging a plant from March until the end of September (about 7 months) detrimental in any way?
Will post pics if I can get them to upload.
Healthy strong plant, trimmed-up bottom with LST curved branches to keep it lower.

12/12 does not apply to outdoor. Whenever the light gets below 14.5 it will start flowering

Ahhh! No wonder I had 3 other plants out at same time but without light assist for 18/6. Sooo, they went out too early.
I'm in coastal NorCal, usa. Thanks.
But then, og questions is there detrimental effects to too long of veg time? Thanks for your response.

The only negative to too long of a veg time is becoming root bound if it's in too small of pot.... otherwise the only thing that will happen is some BIG ASS PLANTS come harvest lol

I've trimmed them up a bit to focus energy to the tops for when it flowers. Did some LST and HST (accidentally breaking a couple branches, that healed nicely) to broaden the canopy and keep it short. They are getting dense with pre-flower white hairs and leaves near the tips of the main branches.
Well sounds like you are on point with what to do!
