Too many calyx or hermaphrodite?

I had 3 Bruce Banner auto, they looked beautiful with nice big colas, lots of sugar leaves, super frosty with lots of tricomes, etc. Then, in the 7th week of flowering I started to notice that there was so many calix, all attached to each other like grapes. Looking on the net I saw plants with many swollen calix, it could also be a hermaphrodite. Please look at the photos. Tell me what you think.

Thanks for your help guys. Are they good to smoke. I was thinking trying to at least save the tricomes, there is a lot and with some trays with screen I think it I could collect a lot. The buds look so wrong to me that I was not even thinking to smoked it.

Looks like some CBD auto bud I grew outside last year. Totally smoke-able but poor yield. Screening leaves a lot of the goody on the plant material. I've screened for years but then do a wash with ice-cold ISO to get the rest and end up with some nice oil. The last big batch of RSO I made I used 115g of dry sift I'd saved up for a couple years so now I just turn most of my pot into oil and use it in edibles mostly.

When I harvested my 3 plants, they were in their 9 weeks of flowering, the tricomes were milky color with some amber and I flushed for one week. Now they are drying. Some buds looks ok with nice colors with less calyx that looks like big hairy seeds while some looks bad with that dark brown color and all those big oversized calyx. Some people told me that I could smoke it, I guess so because they are very frosty. Here is a picture when they were super beautiful. Excuse my French.

Looks like it revegged at some point - so your actual flowering may have been off of your estimates. Plants do not run on calendars- they finish however long it takes regardless of “ week “.

The color of the tricomes is the thing I was checking all the time. But have you ever seen such buds and do you think they will be good to smoke?

I'm not seeing any 'nanners. Those are just calyxes sticking up on their own like some mini-foxtails and perfectly normal with a lot of strains.

No free seeds for you! :)

When I trimmed and dried my friends crop a few weeks ago, the 2 Bruce Banner Autos he had looked way worse than yours. His were foxtails of calyx's all over the entire plant, no real good buds. I'd say with your BB Auto's you lucked out and at least got something that resembled a bud.
