Next year let your son grow a couple autos in the back yard. No one I’ve ever spoken to who takes growing serious (~100 people) would take a ln auto over a photo. I’ve never grown an auto but I hear the same complaints, low yield, lower potency, inferior product.

That said I know great growers who grow auto’s outside because they stay small, easy to manage and will have a harvest by August. There’s a place for both.

Running a couple portable AC’s (May-Aug) and a grow year round I am consistently below the neighborhood average for energy consumption.

I’ve said it for 2 years running now, next year I’ll get minisplits

Nah, I don't look at it as most okayest, etc. op was considering auto's and a visible source makes it much easier to make up his mind. I fully agree that when it comes to downright growing, there are much better sources.
