Alright guys, So I started off with 8 Afghani#1's, 4 were male so ive got 4 left. All are doing well apart from 1 which for some reason has too many leaves, sounds strange but this plant lollipopped on me and is growing about 8 to 10 inches lower than the others and is really bushy, The leaves are just so compacted and is covering all of the budsites and are not letting them develop properly. Anything like this ever happen to anybody??? All the rest of my afghani's will be finished just before christmas but i dont know about this one and I'll be going away for a few days over christmas. Any advice??? Will post pics tomorrow. Cheers!

You can tuck the leafs back and under each other to expose the bud site or you can strategically trim off leafs to expose the site, you dont have to take off the whole thing just the fingers of the leaf that are in the way.

thanks but these leaves are so compact i cant even see the main stalk if i pull em to the side. hold on a few minutes ill see if i can take a pic with my webcam.

So here you go, not the best quality but i think you can see that the budsites are not even visable, any ideas???

No absolutely no light at all, the rest of em are fine though... I dont know why its doing this, its even a bit farther from the light than the others so it should be stretching even a little bit but no. Just getting more compact at the top????

I had one like that, midway through flowering it seemed to stretch out quite a bit. It turned more single cola in the end

dude - the plant looks fine. if you got those Afghani seeds from amsterdam seeds, it's normal to see these aberrations. I grow Afghani exclusively now and every once in a while, the plant goes bushy on me instead of slender growth. It still produces buds and grows just fine.

In fact, the worse thing that you can do is trim fan leaves. It stops growth on these Afghani's I trimmed all my fan leaves once out of curiosity and the buds never filled in. Let it be. Also, remember that these Afghani's have a long flowering period. Let them tell you when they're ready.

Cheers man. So i left my plant alone for a week or so, bit more i think, Nothing happening, just growing more leaves, I cant even see or feel the main stalk through all the leaves, I'm just going to go head and trim some of the leaves, the plant wont be done in time so it wont matter, ill just make some butter or somthing if needs be. thanks for all the help.
