I don't see any sign of to much N.

You have had this same problem with the SS in the past at recommended amounts?

I think by stickin with your tap would be better than the RO.

It dose look like a chemical burn to me, what are you guys saying if its not nute burn? Lets hear some evidence and see some more pics. If we can try or rule a few things out would be good. This cant be from lack of ferts can it? Nute burn for me is always the top quater leaves of the plant.

Max you need to stop growing so much weed, you grow so much it probably being shipped round the world as we speak, maybe about 10% of rollitup are smoking your herbs!lol! Peace

If it was nute burn to that extent all of his tips would be fried.After lookin at the pics....he dosen't have many discolored/dry tips at all.Some thing else.

Well then, I dont even really know what to say. I can sneak in tomorrow and take a few more leaf pics. This is what I have for now.

FEED IT NITROGEN...................................... It is sucking the food from the fan leaves in order to support photosynthesis

I am still not sold it needs nitrogen, I have never seen any plant burn from the lack of nitrogen. Ever. Fading seems to be the rout most things go first :)

As always i trust maxs judgement, some growers are a lot better than me so i have a lot of respect for their judgement.

Well your the grower, its been talked through, some different opinions, what are your next steps then? Sometimes answers aren't straight forward and more time is needed to see what the plant is doing. I think you have some choices here but as to the path you take keep us posted. Burn can be as a result of underfeeding, different deficiencies present differently in flower compared to veg, very hard to understand everything a plant dose.

So i await your update and pics dude, this should be intresting whatever you decide. Max and Dankster seem to suggest more nutes, could be good. Peace

Some strains have weird eating habits and this could be one of them... I'm not saying they are burned from lack of N, I am saying the plant is sucking the stored nitrogen outta the leaves in order to feed itself.. To be on the safe side you could foliar feed with a organic veg food and see what happens but I'm tellin you that the plant needs nitrogen... Don't believe that old myth of cutting out N at flowering. whatever you do you better do it soon cause I have seen plants die very quickly due to this..

I actually dont have any liquid ferts, can I add some supersoil on top and water? Can I add a thick layer of ocean forrest on top? I did just water heavily last night, can I water thoroughly again tonight?

Only problem with that is that you don't know how much your exactly feeding them.. Do you have a home depot or lowes around you?
