Too much running into one receptacle?

I have all of the following running into one GFI socket.

- 1 600 watt nextgen ballast w/ 600w HPS
- 1 6 inch inline fan (12 hours for flowering room)
- 2 4" inline duct fans
- 2 Res. pumps (One in veg room, one in flowering room)
- 2 small fans
- 2' T5 4 bulb light in Veg room
- 1 bucket waterfarm pump for mother

Is this going to be too much power for one GFI receptacle? I have one 12 gauge wire coming into it.

Also, does anyone have an idea of how much this is going to raise my electric bill?

Where is the 12 gauge wire coming from? It better be the panel. Is it on a 20 amp breaker? Is your GFI plug also 20 Amp?

I ran it from the wire coming into the attic outlet. The load is ran into a double switch, one switch to the grow room gfi and one to the original attic outlet. And yes it is a 20 amp gfi

Spread that out if you can.

You have to see what else is on the circuit with that attic outlet... And I suspect that the "feed" to the outlet in the attic was a 14 gauge on a 15 amp breaker so your not really helping much by using a 20 amp etc... But that is good practice I always oversize things so good job!
So find out what breaker (and size of breaker) controls that circuit you are using and find out what else is powered by it as well as the wire size to that attic outlet...
Also how are you plugging all of that into one outlet? Are you using a power bar of some sort?

Add up the wattage's for each appliance, but I think you're still below 75% on a 15 amp fuse.

I'm not an electrician but I did stay at a holiday in express last night

On a 15 amp 1800w is the total allowed, minus 25% as a safety measure = 1440w
