Too short and too bushy

Yea, I understand this, but it's not what I'm dealing with. Don't want to show off, but the LEDs that I am using are considered one of the best at the moment. It's a genuine QB made by HLG themselves, no wonky spectrum for sure...
Your light contains a sufficient amount of 730nm Far Red? Interesting :peace:

Kept the light 10” above the plant all through stretch.
We must be doing something different then. Unfortunately sometimes my nodes grow so close they will mutate together and stuff make celery looking stems etc. it’s weird. Wish I could grow tall plants with them but never do. Maybe wrong spectrum I don’t know.

Maybe veg longer?

Also, even if you go 12-12 from seed, the plant won't start flowering before week 3-4. These ones I'm growing now started in day 27.
The plant you have now is obviously expressing very indica dominant traits. That in conjunction with 12/12 from seed is a big part of why it’s still small. Some plants with less indica take 6+ weeks to mature enough to flower.

I grew a perpetual SOG the last 10 years. I ran many different genetics through the system, and the best yields came from sativa dominant hybrids. Specifically a sativa dominant white widow was one of my best yielders, it took 10-11 weeks but was worth it every time. I ran that plant for 4ish years as clones from one original seed. The sativa is where the nice long spear shaped colas come from, and if you get the right phenotype you can easily flower a 7-8 inch clone and get a 25-30 inch plant that is mostly nice dense cola. Hitting an ounce a plant is doable.

In my experience heavy indica plants don’t stretch enough for the best yields, and tend to want to branch out more then is ideal in a sog grow instead.

Having read through the thread I saw that you don’t want to run from clone or have two grow spaces which can make it tougher to dial in a grow but doesn’t mean you can’t so your thing. If you are just thinking 12/12 from seed in a SOG, I would find a nice hybrid.

Perpetual SOG meaning that when you harvested one crop you had all the clones ready to put in immediately?

Perpetual SOG meaning I had 4 crops running at almost all times in one flower room under a single 1khps and the next batches getting ready in my veg space.

Every 2ish weeks I took fresh clones, the previous clones went into 6inch pots of hydroton to veg for 2 weeks and build roots, and the veg batch went to flower. The flower room typically had 4 batches flowering spread through the stages all divided by about 2 weeks between harvests depending on strain. I’ve had yields over 30g per plant with that white widow, but usually averaged about 20g per plant with other genetics that weren’t selected for being “high yield”.

Are you some noob who copy and pastes everything from grow weed easy website :wall:
I might be. Why don't you keep going back through my posts and get us a solid ratio of my advice vs things that I copied and pasted to corroborate what I implied BEFORE copying and pasting anything..

Or you too busy growing barren sticks?         bongsmilie

I'd literally punch somebody in the face if they wasted my electricity vegging for 3 months only to strip the tall ass plants to less than 40% vegetation.

I could see if it was a scrog but you grew them in the freaking bush method with sticks and all. Biggest waste I've seen on this site besides highaselephanttits. See ya
