Too short or not

They look hungry, unless the light is just making them look more yellow than they are. Have you started feeding them yet? The nodes look close, but not overly close, IMHO.

I haven't fed them anything but what comes with the potting mix. Should I add nutes? And yes the light makes them look more yellow but the are green. Oh I put miracle grow about a half recommended to the bottom of my soil before planting. I don't normally use mg.

I know some people successfully use MiracleGro, but having time released nutrients in your soil is gong to cause issues if you also plan on feeding them nutrients.

If they look nice and green in person then you should be able to hold off on feeding them. Once you see older growth start to lighten up then you need to start feeding.

Ok thanks will update
What's up my fellow tokers. This is my update: I put her in flower 2 weeks ago. She has darkened up nicely and growing bushy. But as you can see she still not stretching upward much at all. Could it be that this is a strain that grows short? All the years I've been growing I never had a plant that just wouldn't vertically grow. Water once a week, big bloom every 2weeks. Started two weeks ago. She showed her first pistils today!

What light is that looks very stunted. And leaves just don't look right kind of like cartoon style lol maybe just me but I wouldn't be impressed if that was my grow

Well it's not light issues I'm good on that. I agree she looks weird and I've never seen this before. My biggest concern like I explained in this section is that she won't stretch much no matter what I do: adjusting lights, adding more light, slightly tweaking light and water schedule etc. My stalk is very thick and strong but no height at all. Other than that looks weird but smells great. If not light issues what else could it be? Thanks for your comments arnski

Thanks for the replies. No I'm not using just 3 cfls in flowering. I'm using 4 instead of three and 4 led all with their own clamp lamps. I'm just over 20+ days since flip. All lamps are 4 in. Away. The cfls all together are the hood if you will, being hanging over the very top. With the LEDs surrounding the sides but point down in an angle. The only thing I've done different with this plant this time around was solo cup before transplant. Everything else is the same as my other grows with minor tweaks of course.
