What you are doing will work fine, but the rapid root plugs that fit into a standard seed tray works far better than the peat pucks you are using (I learned this over time, I did exactly what you are doing, same bin and all)..
It seems stupid, but I honestly have better success in a "humidity dome" that I made out of K'Nex and wrapped in cling wrap.. The thing just works.
My point is, dont overthink it. I have an aerocloner that I never use because its loud and uses electricity. Your doing fine and they will root.
You dont need to root in "a couple days" ... Growing plants isn't about doing things fast, its about doing things right. The people with the affiliate links to their Amazon stuff will argue, but do what works for you. Keep the humidity up, the soil moist, but not wet. Piece of cake.
