This is my first grow and my plants were lanky from stretching. I topped them how screwed am I? Pics from before topping
Took some bad advice and topped during week 1 of 12/12

You're not screwed at all. I've gotten pissed at plants for popping back up repetitively after lst so 4th week I've cut my main. I probably lost a little harvest, or so, but it was worth it when I didn't have to deal with the hassle of it. It will still produce just keep doing what you're doing

Won't hurt your yield at all but you could have rolled the main stem hard between your thumb and fingers to soften it up then just flopped the top over. The top cola seems to get even bigger doing that than topping.
Once you remove the top the energy that would have gone to it gets spread out to all the buds growing on the upper colas of side branches so they end up a little bigger than they would have if the top was still on. You'll end up with the same or better yield but just won't have that big main cola to show off but most of us top too so don't get those either.
Preferable to top earlier but no real harm done.

Thanks for the reply that’s a huge relief. These seeds seem to bounce back from topping so that’s really good news. If you think the topping during flower did any harm (it probably won’t) then you learned a lesson for next time.

I’ve seen people top autos quite late and photos topped all the time! So many people grow in small spaces width and height wise. Like @King_Kush86 said every grow is a lesson learned even for the veterans.
