me neither lol. my only concern is the bud we buy is really high grade, i just hope my girls can match up! only diference is that i will have a shedload! lol. Its a really amazin and rewarding hobby! are you starting a grow log chipotlechips? I wish i had now in retrospect....

Got my T44 on Monday. I put 2 seeds into germinate as soon as they got here, they both poped their tap root by Wednesday so now I got em both planted and in my heated pobagator under a single 75w CFL.

Hoping to see them sprout in a day or two, so I can get them under the big light.

If all goes well I'll start a grow thread too

cool!!! I was wondering, does anyone know if top 44 skunk is diferent from top 44? If so what are the genetics of top 44?

Got any more pics, how long till you think you'll flower/harvest?

Okay, sorry its been so long on an update!!! I have had a few disasters to cope with. Mainly being that the juiciest, frostiest looking and most advanced female i had grew a single ball that went undetected and popped (possibly effecting my grow). It was depressing to say the least knowing that all my crop may be pollenated but i have carried on regardless, remembering that this was more about learning than anything else.

So, with the large, spunky female isolated and prospering in the sun i turn my attention to the rest of my babies. They are now 26 days in flower (from the time of sexing, not 12/12) and are looking rather tempting with the crystals they have developed allready. I have to tell myself that they are so immature and the thc i see at the moment are only a fration of what my buds will be like in full glory. (this is if it doesnt end up seeded).
Does anyone have experience of a similar situation? what are my chances? any input would be a help.

After consulting several experienced rui members i have switched to using tap water left out for 36 hours. Is this ok? my PH is 6. I am experiencing some leaves curling downwards on one plant. (pics will follow)


I am going to take some pics of my buds now but i include a pic of the popped male sack and its pollen on the node and stem below it. Also included is a pic of the bud mass that the ball was under. It popped at night with no fans. If anyone could estimate how seedy my bud may be i would be very grateful.

Okay so heres some pics!

first pic is of my reduced crop now my best looking girl is outo here! Im still a bit worried as to the pure sensi state of it (i wanted sensimelia). A few seeds would actually be good, im not bitching! but i will be quite disheartened if my crop is screwed.

pic number 2 is a scale shot of my buds with my hand. They really need to fatten up! when does this happen?

Next pic is one of the top colas on my "freaky" girl, i dont know if any of you subscribed remember her....She naturally grew really freaky. well here is one of the colas getting far too close to my light, though no burning as yet!!! anyone have any ideas on what to do with her?

And the last pic is of the wilted leaves on one of my plants. Anyone have any idea what this could be?

i grow top 44 and it is good herb here is a pic of my top 44 mommy she is about 6 to 8 months old the other pic is a clone that i flipped straight to bud u should be very happy with this strain

I allready saw the pic with the mask lol, do you have a journal? i think i read it.... Im pretty happy with it at the moment but i think the genetics may be a bit awry cos i have had two plants kick out male balls but not fully hermie...ie only 1 or 2 balls.

No, None of them are males.....I dont know where you got that impression. 2 of my plants have shown single male flowers. This isnt that uncommon, its just that one of the balls popped. Next time il be using dutch masters reverse to be sure. I dont even have a full blown hermie, let alone a male! its just gutting that it was my best looking plant that got spunked.

Day 31. Just some more general bud pics. Its quite distressing that i have had to isolate that fem that grew a ball. i've put a couple of pics of her up. Shes in the window but not getting anywhere near enough light.

I keep wanting to put her back but she had a pollen sack burst and may be carrying it, even though she hasnt developed any more balls in 6 days!

What do you all think?

For some reason I thought I read that you said they were males... wias probably stoned. Anyway your plants look really really good. So all of the seeds you planted ended up being female except the hermi/wayward gal? How many days since sprouting before they started to show sex?

As for your wayward gal can you just cut her sack off so it doesnt emit pollen, give him/her a good air shower before you mix her with the other ladies? Thisi s not a technical answer, just throwing some ideas out there.

well the sack is long gone, i took the whole branch to avoid any more contamination. The sack had popped so There would really be no use in trying to stop it, it is the contamination of lower branches that is the problem.

Basically my plants were planted on the 31st of jan, i let them veg ( though they were technically seedlings) until the 20th of feb, giving them 20 days. within 7 days of being in 12/12 they had all shown sex.

I started with 10 seeds, i germinated them all in a little experiment, i did 2 in situ, 2 soaked in water and the rest using the paper towel method, This was by far the most effective with a 100% rate.
All together i ended up with 8 plants, though i planted 4 two to a pot against my better judgement (space issues) and was forced to cull them down to 1 a pot because they were fighting for space.

From the 6 remaining i ended up with 1 full-Blown hermie and 5 Females (including the one with the sack, it isnt a full blown hermie, just a freak.).

More Pics coming today! I'm loving the rate these babies are moving at now! Having a small heat problem though, the buds seem to retain heat.

If one of the mods could move this to journals for me that would be great. Dont wanna keep clogging the general forum up with what has clearly turned into a journal. Thank you.
