top leaves curling/dropping

Well my friend there is mucho bad info. u r given here. Dont worry I have had this problem also. I will tell u one thing all the "answers" u have here r wrong. The best thing to do when u have a problem is go for the simplest most common explanation. I am not always right but I am 99% sure of what ur problem is! When I flower my plants they usually shoot up 8-12 inches in the first 2 weeks then flower out. If ur plant shoots up this much it is of course getting closer and closer to the light every single day. I use 1000 watt dual arc mh & hps which produces mad heat. I saw ur energy efficient bulbs they to will produce heat especially in a closet. The plants natural response to being to dry is to curl its fan leaves to conserve water. Simply move ur plants farther away from the light and maybe add some ventilation. another tip if u move farther away u might want to invest in some other type of lighting dont think those bulbs will flower u out very well. U can also mist underneath leaves with ph adjusted h20, this will also help just dont spray bulbs!! GOOD LUCK MY FRIEND!!!

sorry i hit post not reply so i'll try it again. i have had this problem. what is happening is in first 2 weeks of flower plants shoot up8-12 in which resuklts in closer to the light and more heat. When plants get to dry natural response is to curl leaves to conserve h20/ defense mechanism. Whatever u do do not move plants any closer to the light u will start to dry out more than ur top leaves. Move away from light but if u do this u might want to add more light ur energy efficients wont flower very well also add more ventilation heat rises. Heat stress is the devil!!!! GOOD LUCK
