Top leaves of clones curling/browning

Hello,

I just snipped some clones off my plants before I put them into flower.
They seemed super healthy the 1st few days and still for the most part do.
Only thing is the smaller top leaves are starting to curl up and brown. Never seen this before and not sure what's going on. These were clipped and put into rockwool about 5 days ago.
They are under a 2 bulb T5 lamp.
They are in rockwool getting misted by about 5.8 PH water 2 times a day.
18/6 light schedule.
Keeping room temp around 80-85 degrees.
Inside a humidity dome with all vents closed except for a tiiiiny crack.
Clones were cut from lower branches as I've heard those tend to root better.
Cut at an angle then dipped into cloneing gel my local grow store owner recommended and put into rockwool.

Any idea what is going on here? Too much light? Too dry? Found nothing after extensive googling.

that white stuff looks like powdery mildew
humidity dome...
do you have a flan blowing into the tiny crack?
Oh that's just a weird camera angle. I just misted them before the photo and it's the light reflecting off of the water on the leaves leaves.
No white stuff on any of the leaves, definitely no mildew.

Must be all the misting...

I've cloned multiple times back in the day using this same setup/strategy with nearly 100% success rate. Only had about 1-2 clones out of each back of 10 not root.

Never seen this weird curling thing that's going on before using my little "technique"
Not sure what I'm doing wrong, maybe it's just a hard strain to clone or something.

I have had many failures. Lol

I think this helped the most...
"soak cuts in phd tap water over night to assure they are well hydrated"

Along with keeping them at 80f+ during rooting
No misting plants. No opening the dome for days....unless remisting of dome needed.

I soaked for like 6 hours so hopefully that's enough.
I'll change over to this plan and hopefully be able to keep a few. If not back to the club for new clones it is haha
It's all a learning experience!
Thanks for the help guys!

Hey guys,

Update here for anyone wondering. I had a 100% success rate on these clones rooting.
I stopped Misting the actual clones and only misted the dome when it really dried out.
Just transplanted them all to soil and they're already growing new leaves.

Pretty shocked on the 100% success rate haha

Thanks for everyones help!
