Top my plants

I like to top them when they have started to grow at least 4 branches. You're almost at that point. Give them some time. I would save lst after they have recovered from topping and start growing those branches.

But with them growing so compact when could I start lst?
If it’s growing compact then you shouldn’t need to even do much LST. You can theoretically top them pretty early, and you can do LST from the time they are still a seedling, if you really want. It just better to wait for the plant to grow and mature a bit before putting it through unnecessary stress. One of the things I’ve learned since I started growing is that patience is one of the most valuable things to have when you are growing this plant.

Like Bucket, I top first, then start lst or manifolding after they grow a bit. Those are a little small still to top, but it can be done.
