is it necessary to topfeed in my dwc while it's a seedling? i just put it into the bubble bucket the second set of true leaves are starting to form.

i have the water right under the netpot right now, no roots are out of the netpot yet so i'm just curious. should i topfeed until they establish? or am i making it to easy on the plant

how did you start the seed?? if it was started in a rw/rapid rooter where the roots good and established in the starter cube(roots showing from the cube) before placing in the system?? if they where then keep the water level right to the bottom of the pot and the bubbles will moisten the hydroton and will wick its way up to where the roots will be enough hydrated until they hit the water, i have never had to top feed in my bubble buckets.

the roots weren't poking out but the second true leaves were starting to show so i stuck them in so i didnt damage the roots or shock them.

the water level is right at the bottom of the netpot and the whole netpot is wet up to the bottom of the lid.

well this is my first grow... its a 2x2 cube but i kinda messed up and overwatered it... it didnt get droopy or sick, it was just as healthy as can be but for 3 days it didnt grow. so i just stopped watering it and now its back on track. im really just trying not to overwater it, i guess by topfeed i mean like handwater... should i do that for a little bit? or will the bubbles from the bucket be enough?
