A few of my base recipes:
topical.jpeg

1.5 c. Coconut oil
8 grams of dry ice bubble hash, 24 g of trim or 10 g bud

2 cups mango seed butter
rose hibiscus oil
4-5g bubble hash, 20 g of trim or 8g bud

Melt base on low simmer , add oils, add cannabis, stir frequently for about an hour. Pour off oil and discard plant matter.May need to strain out plant matter as nessessary. Let cool down in final container and refrig for faster firming.
The 1st recipe helps with instant pain relief as you rub into skin, plus coconut oil is super good for you. Also can be used during sexytime (put on naughty parts , makes orgasms last longer and be more intense)

2nd recipe is more for moisturizing and packed with omegas for skin conditioning and preventing wrinkles

I been playing around with some other scents/oils with mint and lavander

So there ya go...hope this helps anyone starting topicals and salves...if anyone has some recipes or ideas post em up!
TY

Thanks for this post, been wanting to try making a salve. Do you play with THC:CBD ratios when making these? I've tried some salves from local dispensaries but they're mostly THC so was wondering if you've done any with CBD strains and found they work better for certain conditions.

I wish I had that kinda time to do trials on different strains atm. I picked up more high cbd strains this year so I SHOULD try that...Since THC,THCA AND CBD all have anti inflammatory effects, thats an excellent question btw...what would higher cbd and lower thc be in comparable to equal, etc.

Hi Dib666, nice to meet you. I'm new here but I've seen you around.
Anyway why do you not have to decarb before making the topical?

been awhile since ive brewed up topical. the oil concentra stuff has long shelf life in a sealed glass jar. technique: consumable-alcohol , quick soak and longer second soak for two diff grades and prods. once heat evaporated (decarb occurs when losing alc. and water), purer quick soak can simply be blended w coconut oil at room temp for capsules, fully decarbed during evaporation with digital electric induction stovetop (as seen on t.v.) . very medicinal deep sleep w caps. maybe don't not try to drive anywhere the next day. stays in system awhile. test dosage carefully before recc cap batch to anyone

same quick soak and/or the 'second run' stuff (more chlorophyll and lrgr less pure yield) is good to go for adding to any lotion by hand blending. green hue tells me to keep it in fridge. I notice when add plentiful amt. to neck area, or anywhere really, later at night... guaranteed to pass out, like a light medible bzz and completely pain numbing.

been pondering additional oils or herbs to add to topical beyond lotion brand blends. just starting to get basics of this ez method downimage.jpeg

heya chef...nice to meet you as well!
decarbing before? no...we arnt looking to convert cbd into thc in the topicals. We want to stay raw and pure as possible and only activating all the cbd's. Once I get my other pc running I can show you a list of cbd vs temps to activate certain cbd's. or maybe you could google around a bit and find something similar. Thanks for the question

Hi diabolical666, in your recipe, you mentioned dry ice bubble hash. When i get it at my local dispensary it doesn't really say bubble. Can i use any type of hash or wax/shatter/budder/crumble? they have so many different names, but basically can i use any type of hash that will melt into my coconut oil?. Another question have you ever used a recipe with half hash and half bud/leaf? Also have you ever mixed different strains such as 4 grams sativa/hybrid hash /5grams indica flower? Would indica be the best for pain relief. i'm thinking i need to research only strains with higher CBD content since i'm really interested in pain relief, could you name some strains that you think i can look for, i have heard about Harlequin and Charlotte's Web, but have never seen these at my local dispensaries, and if i use any strain of indica that has a high thc content, will it give me a noticeable high feeling? Thank you in advance i appreciate your knowledge on this subject Cw
