I do the same Therrion!
I personally find it easier when growing big plants to spread them out a little in veg, makes putting them under the netting a lot more user friendly and I snap less branches haha.
I also use loose zip strips instead of weaving. It does the same thing but much easier. The best part is that if a bud is too close to another, you can snip the strip and move the branch over , and then refasten.

Yeah true! Funny how the simple tips like that can make things much easier! Will definitely be doing that this run!
Nice one Therrion 8)

I have built a scrog but realized I could not do easily what I like to do.... caring for the plants is therapy for me and in a scrog I can’t remove each plant and work with it.....
I made small nets from coat hangers and plant wire...the plant supports the net so if I have to pull a plant out the net comes too, but only that 1.
After topping a few times I bring the all the plant branches up through the center and then tie down to the net.
So far its working fine...haven't had to pull a plant out yet, but could be done easy enough I think.

I put supports on the corners (PVC pipe) for a week or two while its growing and being tied down, but they come off as soon as shes standing strong on her own.
Happy growing y'all :P

I’ve seen some great examples of these Mak’er Grow.
Awesome when growing in individual dwc buckets. Makes bucket changes a whole lot easier!

Here its about $1 a connector and about $8 for the pipe...around $20 or more...mine was about $2...lol
But I do like the PVC...much easier to work with and to clean...imo
Beauty of a plant there btw...great job !
It’s not the price that scares me, it’s putting the pieces of the jigsaw together..... I’m the guy that always has a bolt in his hand when the jobs done!!

Depending on strain I'll top once maybe twice for four tops and then just supercrop from there to keep the canopy as even as possible for flowering. I know scrogs work but I don't want to deal with tucking and weaving . I just pinch and bend over. Also, I don't want to veg for months filling up the screen. I flower smaller plants for a faster turnaround.

Sick girl atm tho...I have been fighting nutes issues/problems...tried switching brands when this plant was started, but plants dont seem to like it or I just cant find the sweet spot yet, but I'm switching back...anyways this is her @ 21 days into flower...pistols started day 10 I think.

I'm trying to lay it on the screen because I think if I weaved it then come harvest time it will be hard to un-weave it all...this way I just untie and cut branches at main stem and it should come right off...fingers crossed...lol
