There are two types of germination found in plants - hypogeal germination where the cotyledons (energy stores) are kept below the surface of the soil, and epogeal where the cotyledons are carried above the surface. Pot has the second - if you cut off the first two round weird looking leaves before the plant has created plumules (the next set of leaves) or true leaves (all leaves after the plumules) then the plant will have no energy to keep going and die.

Fuck me, didn't realize this was on page 95.

You can see them at the base, trying to grow back.
It still wanted to stand up with it's stem and so I said, " Fine ! Show me what you got, and IF you're a female you can be a clone for sure. If you're a male, I'll take some pollen !".

Looks like it's is gonna make me keep my word ! lol

All of them popped up on the same day too !!!!!!!!!!!!!

i originally topped in the wrong place as it was my first attempt and the next day i topped it right and had a cut off that was like only 1 inch long and cut on the top and it grew into a grand 2 branched plant!

Lol I had one I topped on 12/12 from seed it was about 6in when I did it but I decided to revert it as 12/12 wasn't what I wanted I looked so pathetic but lime told me not to worry... When I put it in veg it only started reverting from the bottom and all the top growth died off now it has 4 branches and is only about 2in high lol and a monster.. You'll be amazed what can come out of a screw up charlie showed me that :)

Well here she is...Charlie's "Angel" !!! :shock:
This is charlie's first cutting just flipped the switch to 12/12 ...she is 28" and only topped her once a couple weeks before flip @ 24"... Purposely this time!!!:razz: Purple Kush/ mom turned dark purple :weed:...the original "Topped Seedling" :wall: she is posted at the beginning of this thread/novel? lol it's been a journey? I know!

I don't mind posting older pics if any have not seen charlie go purple...cuz idk if i posted the final pics :wink: but anyways enjoy what I believe to be a Beauty...

Thanks man yah its been along haul but she has shown me how to pay attention to the little thing and mostly patience and how tough/resilient the can be!!! never give up until the end! lol well if you don't have more???

shit i'd rep yah but I'm all out for the day I'm on 24 hrs suspention but will hit you up when i can...!
