topping a clone

got 4 clones that are 4 weeks old 2 as cuttings and 2 in soil with roots there about 4 inches high with a fair bit of growth on each one, when could i top them??? and could i get the top to root rather than chuck em away???

A strong clone cut would be a cut that has 2 nodes in it. As long as it has at least one node it should root.

that sounds like your plants need to grow another week or two.And it will grow roots if you know how it takes practice.goodluck oregon024
