Topping and LST, just making sure I'm doing it right

I have 2 plants vegging and on one of them I topped and started LST. It seems to be going well but I'm just looking for some feed back. One leaf has some yellowing on it, just wondering what that is. This plant is the same age as my two that are flowering that are 4 and 5 feet tall but I didn't transplant this one at the same time because I didn't have enough large pots and I think that stunted it's growth. Plus the topping and Lst, so it's still pretty small. I would say it is 2 months old but it is only about a foot tall.

The other plant in the pictures is just a no name strain I got out of a bag. I just want some feedback on how that one is doing as well. It has one leaf that has yellow dots all over it. Plus it's growing a little differently compared to the others. It needs to be transplanted but again I don't have anymore pots so it will have to wait. When I do transplant it I'm going to cover a lot of the stretched stem so that shouldn't be a problem.

Any advice or feedback would be appreciated. Thanks.

Thanks Does anyone know what I should do when it starts to grow taller? Should I untie it and tie it down at a different spot? Also since I topped it, it should make the two top shoots become two main colas right? Should I tie them down as well when they start getting taller?

yea theres 2 already starting, and yes u can tie down other branches when there big enough, kinda play around w/ it to so u get a feel for it

If you need to follow instructions, you should read up on why LST works.

The plant distributes auxins to the part of the plant that is highest up from the ground (not always the normal top when LST'ing).
These auxins tell the plant which part is to be prioritized to grow the most. So YOU decide where you want growth!

So if you bend down the top to a point where another side-branch is higher up than the original top was, then IT will start growing like mad. When the original top turns upwards again, you can do it again - until you have enough tops.

When you get the hang of it, you can get many colas at same height for flowering.

So LST is not only about keeping a plant low, but controlling where you want future colas, and how many.

LST so that the main stalk is touching the rim of your pot.
You want to tie it down as close to the ground as you can without breaking it or putting the leaves under the soil.

It's only about 2 feet tall, if that. And yes that container is too small, I need to transplant it but I need to wait until I have money to buy another container. I hadn't anticipated growing this plant and didn't buy enough pots.

Thank you, I wasn't really sure how far to do it. Is it normal for it to not grow very fast after starting LST?

Also, if you want to see a tall plant, this is one of my other plants I'm growing.
It is roughly 5 feet tall.

Is that really 5 ', what are you hangin off the ceiling taking the pic? I agree u should re pot so after topping so the root system can expand.
