topping for 2 colas?

ME personsally, i dont like cutting to top, i prefer just a hardy ass pinch on the main stalk before the leaves have a chance to develop sending developmental hormones to other nodes and i do that as often as 6 times to one plant and get a nice spread canopy without to much stress in about a month of solid veg, works for me and i REALLY wouldnt have suggested topping like that under flourescent lighting, but then again i was one of those that said you couldnt grow weed with house lights and have been proven wrong so, take it or leave it, alone. best of luck with your grow dude man, and happy harvests down the line :) stay medicated.

you will have as much colas as you let branches grow.
when you top you make the plant shoot the lower branches faster.

If you want 3 colas top after 2 nodes and chop one of the branches that shoot.

Its really ain't complicated.

For sure, I top for 3 to be safe on occasion (if I think 1 of the branch starts might be damaged or something). All you're doing with topping is deciding the number of tops you want, starting at the bottom of the plant, counting off the same number of branches as desired tops (cuz they're going to become one and the same), and cutting off everything above that point. If you want three, cut everything but the bottom three branches. 1 cut, through the main stem, removing the top, or topping, the plant. All remaining branches will become tops and grow as such. Nice handle, Stinkmeaner, Boondocks is the shit.
