Topping help

Hi all i need to top 2 plants i have put a red mark on the photo where i plan to cut any advice if this is the right area to cut should i take more off or less off

Ian it'd be good to see the whole plant, see how far up you're topping.

I usually top at the 3rd or 4th node, give the side branches time to catch up. Leaving the top until the 6 node takes too much time to get a flat top with the side branches.

You've picked the right spot on the nodes to top, if you're going to top that high on the plant.

Here is the whole plant and can i clone what i cut off as well they are not the best to look at but it was my first attempt and where would you reccomend cutting m8

I would top on the third or fourth node, which ever has a good set of branches.

Most, or all, of your yield is going to come above the top, having a long stem lollipoped below the topping just takes vertical space.

I cut above the 5th node just to be on the safe side and put the cuttings in peat with hormone power see if i get anything off the cuttings

to big to top i would just pull her down and pinch out the bud sites or tips
