Topping noob question

I can't believe you got that name! lol
You might have topped it a bit early. A lot of guys wait to give the plant a better start and root system, but it looks fine to me. No nutes yet. It hasn't even begun to use whats in the soil allready. Another way of topping is to fold the little cluster of leaves over before they spread out. It'll snap off. Super easy.

Everything lools fine so far. What soil are you using and how old are they again?
I am using Fertilome "Ultimate potting soil" that has perlite, and I added a small amount of vermiculite.

They are about 2 weeks old now. My 400w HPS was over 2 ft away from them until today though so hopefully they will grow a bit faster now

Not familiar with that soil. I know fox farm soil only lasts 2-3 weeks before you nedd to start feeding. Give it another week before feeding. First feeding should always be light (1/4 strenght) and work up from there.

I did half strength and gave each plant only a couple ounces a couple days ago. I wont feed until a week more though thanks for the heads up. I just figured it would kick start the topping growth but as i have learned topping is stress enough to help growth.

My smallest plant has malnourished leafs or some shit.. maybe the leaf was touching a perlite bit in the soil? Do you think it will be okay? It has been growing but slowly..

As you can see one of the leafs is practically nonexistent..

TOuching perlite wouldn't damage the leaves. It's for the most part just airy rock used for consistency and drainage purposes.

That said, dont breathe it in! It's dangerous to breathe.
