Hi, I have heard on various occasions that using wood ash for fertilizer works good but I have never tried it , I have used all organic fertilizers like molasses , epsom salts, ext , just wanted others in sites
Would you recommend it?If used lightly it would be beneficial as it contains lime and potassium and many trace elements. Too much and the lye and salts are harmful.
He said use it lightly, it'll raise your ph a lot!Would you recommend it?
Sure. I've used it in my vegetable garden, compost bin, and just sprinkled it in the yard here and there with good results.Would you recommend it?
and fast too.He said use it lightly, it'll raise your ph a lot!
gotta be careful though, snapping turtles like that ph tooI think that's what I used to throw in the swimming pool to raise the ph.
I grow my gourd patch over brushpile ashes each year. They like ash, but you can get too much. I have 6 Filipino gourds, and the 2 in the middle where the ashes were thickest were a good ways behind the other 4.If used lightly it would be beneficial as it contains lime and potassium and many trace elements. Too much and the lye and salts are harmful.
