Topping the mother.

I have been taking many cuttings that are two branched as a result of topping the mother. The mother is so rapidly re-growing that I feel it best to start with a clone that has 2 branches. It seems like I am starting with already topped plants with more potential and that the shock is taken on by the mother which is more equipped to handle it.

I like two topped clones for just that reason, if you are going to top it's already done once and I top a lot. I like symmetrical plants and that's an easy way to start them.

I definitely like to top and this 2 stalk beginning means one top for each and I am set, or mainlining would be interesting. I think these are plant foundations that would yield more...just mathematically more productive.
