TOP AND BEND. TOPPING/FIM wins if you LET IT VEG for an extra few weeks. if you have a 600w. + and let a plant veg for 7+ weeks with top you will be pleased

I noticed when i did a lil plant SOG, all plants were givin 3-4 weeks of veg, the plant that did the best was the Natural (untrained plant)
But if you vegged em huge, the trained (topped fim lst) plants should yield more.

In my experience whether to top or not is really dependent on the strain. My Kush plants do not respond well to topping and I havent seen an increase in yields there. I have a Haze hybrid thats Sativa dominant, that loves to be topped and produces best after being topped.

Hello all I have been looking at plant pictures deep into flowering and ready for harvest and I have found very few with 2 colas..meaning I dont think many of you (at least that post pics) top your plants? But im still a newbie so im just lookin for discussing about toppin
So please just post weather you top your plants plan to top, or never intent to top go on

So ill start it off by saying, i plan on topping my first single plant grow is 8 inches tall so pretty soon i hope :D
I always top my girls and find the buds are smaller than the main cola on an un topped plant but overall yield is better. I don't get lose airy buds because i use a finishing product mainly supernatural bud blaster .I'm using shooting powder this time round so will give my verdict soon.peace

I would top at least once even when growing outdoors since the top might get very fat if yo don't top. This might be a problem depending on humidity/rain/morning dew in late flowering, rot is your enemy outdoors. Big fat buds tend to start rotting faster if you ask me, they take longer to dry when they get rained on.
