I think what you're referring to is what's called a "stipule". Doesn't have anything to do with sex.

I'm not talking about the stipules on the stem, i'm talking about the clawed thing.
I'm pretty sure this is a form of male preflower.

i have just changed everything around i need to get new pics up
New grow room too!!
also they are starting to fatten up ill be able to tell this week im sure if there male or female. No spade like flowers at this time thanks god.

Thank you sir, Finished up the new grow room this weekend its 5'x3'x3'. This should be plenty of room for one or two plants.
And i hope so too! If not no biggie, i have learned a lot from this and if none this time ill try again.

lol ....I know the first is a female its a pic i found online...
the second pic is my plant it looks the same as the one before it but just with out hairs. I still think mine are a just a few days away from sprouting them
was a little blasted last night so my post might not have been clear lol
