Topping?

this is my plant at 12 days old. 400w hps with 18/6 light cycle, fox farm ocean forest soil. i was wondering wen do you guys think i should top this baby. im doing an LST grow.

Instead of topping I would try to use the FIM technique, it works very simliar to topping without all the added stress of lopping the plants head off which also delays growth. You should begin FIM 'ing or Topping after the third set of leaves have appeared. The Fim technique is displayed in the FAQs.. you should also maybe look into getting the Marijuana Horticulture book by Jorge Cervantes. Hope I could help.

Just snapped these pics. 13 days old, working on 9 blade leaves.
I'll top at the 4th node.
Vegged under T5 will flower under hps.

You may have heat issues, those look smallish for 12 days.

It doesn't matter what we think.

Do you have high restrictions, or want a bushier plant?

But Don't use FIMM it's nothing more than pruning the top while guessing where the growing tip is (that's why FIM stands for F*ck I missed).

Read up FIM Tutorial (taking the guesswork out)
