I have been growing for a while now in flood/drain. just switched to top feed buckets (5 gal). My plants can grow about 3 ft tall. I want to achieve 4oz/plant or more. I dont have much expeirnce with topping so i am hoping that someone can tell me or has pics to show when to top and how many times. i am planning on vegging for 4 weeks. I am growing a hybrid Blueberry x white widow.

This is my top feed setup in my flowering room. There is two of these (24 plants). i use 2 1000 watt hps.

most times nobody topps more then twice..it's simple you go from the top of the plant and down to where the next leaves are growing..it's better to find a "v" where u have 2 leaves/sprouts growing out from both sides..find your spot and then go up 1/4 inch from it and cut it..it will grow back as 2 shoots...or you can fim it and get 4 shoots..fimming is when you go to the top of the new growth and trim 80% of it off with sissors or a razor blade...i prefer to pinch them ..spred the leaves of a new sprout and grab the middle and twist it off .."same as topping"..and less stress on the plant...
