Tops of plants wilting

Super lemon haze in VEG.
3 gallon pots with promix
Feeding at 50% with grèen planet nutrents and recharge microbes
Runoff ppm: 550
Runoff ph: 6.2

My plants have been wilting at the tops for 2 weeks now. They're still growing fine just the tops are droopy and look yellow a bit too.

I thought it was overwatering initially so I waited for the plant to dry out real good, almost too good before watering and that didn't help.

maybe it's rootbound somehow even tho the pots well big enough. I pulled it out last night to check and roots are fine.

So after all that maybe it's mites. I take a look all over with 200x can't find any. So I spray them down with megawash anyways.

I'm not sure wat elce I can try. I'm thinking tomorrow going down to the hydro store and grabbing some compost tea and giving that a shot.


Have anyone experienced a similar issue?

What do you mean you pulled it out? Did you pull the root ball out of the pot? Don't do that if you did.
If you used a 200x scope and didn't see any mites why would you spray them for mites?
Dumping more stuff on them when there is a problem isn't necessarily the best thing to do.
The bottom leaves look pretty green so I doubt you're under feeding them.
How close are your lights? Many people put their LED's too close.
Don't bother worrying about runoff PPM.
You might be using 50% strength nutrients but that recharge is 12% kelp.
Pretty hard to determine what the issue is. They don't look that bad. Give plain water for a week before dumping more stuff on them. Soil could be locking out nutrients, PH imbalance, etc... In which case adding more things will do more harm than good.

Yes I pulled one of the plants out to see if there was any root bounding. And there wasn't.

I sprayed my plants with megawash because the tops are showing a possible symptom of broad/russet mites. Yeah i scoped the plant and didn't see any.. but I've head you will be lucky to spot one. Plus I've been a bit lazy with my IPM so I gave them a spray. I wouldn't worry about me spraying my plants in veg.

I haven't dumped anything on them that I don't normal do.
I checked the roots and have done my normal monitoring of ph/ppm. Everything is normal.

I have been growing this pheno for 3 years. First I've seen of this issue.

No my light is not too close.
No I'm not using soil I'm using promix

Well then I don't have anything else to add other than what I already have. I obviously can't help you. It sucks when things go bad. Been there many times before. I do hope that you get everything sorted out and things work out. I enjoy seeing people growing good plants and having good harvests. Sometimes grows just get problematic and don't go the way you want. It could be from a variety of factors. Hopefully you'll get it sorted out and end up with a good harvest.

I can't really see the tell tale signs of broad or russet mites in your photos. But if your new growth is stalled out looking like shit, that could be it. Not sure about your product but a lot of mite washes treat spider mites and not broad or russet mites. Only stuff I know of that absolutely works is not for use in flower. Good luck, hope it sorts itself out.

What do you use to adjust pH?
