Topsy Turvey???

Just Curious to see if anyone has tried growing in one of those Topsy Turvey Things? I know there are a couple different ones, the tomato one grows out the bottom and the one for strawberries has a bunch of holes along the sides for multiple strawberry plants. Please let me know.

:-?I did once..for some reason my plant wouldnt grow down..It just kept fighting growing downwards and started growing very "vine-like" all around the topsy turvy. It looked really scary and gross (when high) so i trashed it.

I suppose you could grow it indoors if you had the light below the topsy so your plant doesn't grow down then upwards like a J-shape, this is just my theory though.

Is the topsy turvey just mean that you grow the plant downward??? maybe I need some more explanation cause i don't see how that is feasible.....any help?

yeah it hangs from wherever u want and the plants either grow out the bottom or thers one with holes on the sides. Its an "as seen on tv" thing, they sell it at cvs or any big grocery stores, theyre about $10

How would that effect yield, buds, height, etc.????

My husband is convinced that being upside down would make really strong buds and a killer cola, I think they would just try to grow up as stated. Seems like it would stress them out. I might try it if I could grow outside just so my hubby would stop saying " U should try that" every time we see a topsy turvy LoL

lol... that's hilarious man

but idk. Cause it would allow the water and nutes to just flow nicely down to the buds.. maybe you would need the lights underneath it instead of having it outside and it wanting to grow upwards again... But I dont think it'd stress it at all.. itd just grow really weird as steph experienced... hahaha
