Any traders out there?
What do you trade?
What is your strategy?
Are you turning a profit, break even, or loosing?
Full time or part time trader?
No need to lie, maybe we can help each other become better traders.
Not sure how many traders pass by RIU but maybe we can get a few in here
My story:
Have traded everything from penny stocks to futures.
Currently trade 5 and 10 year treasury notes and 30 year bond futures. I use pit tactics that have been used in the pits since the 80's. I've found old pit tricks still work in the tnote and bond markets, while the other markets are slowly loosing that edge.
I also have other investments in Closed End Funds and I swing trade stocks when conditions are right (currently they haven't been)
My goal is to lease a seat at the CME in years to come. I know alot of trading is going electronic, but being on the floor would be a very stimulating environment.
So, lets hear your stories
