My bro was growing for personal last year in a corn field..went out to water his plants at night and got flashed by a trail cam. Luckily since it was dark he knew that he'd been picked up by it so took it back to his house and wiped his picture off the card and made a new route to his spot. My last guerilla grow was 7-8 years ago, back before these things were really available to the general public. Now I hardly know any serious hunters who aren't using them. It's not the flash that worries me for this years grow (Iranian G13, Iranian "Auto") because I'll be slipping out in the dark and a flash will ...it's the infrared cameras that don't emit a flash...especially the ones that transmit the image directly to email or text them to a phone. Check out this link (one guy had a grow one foot away from one of these cameras! lol) and post your thoughts on ways to defeat or counteract the threat of being spotted. Only thing I can think of is to get out early in the year and place a few of my own infrareds near my location, which would catch anyone coming in or out but provide no protection otherwise. http://www.supercircuits.com/resources/learn/surveillance-for-parks-and-recreation-areas/surveillance-for-parks-recreation-trail-cameras
