Training clones... what should I do here?

Got these clones from a friend and they are almost 2 ft tall with no training done to them yet. He didn't want to risk anything.

Obviously left alone I will get Christmas trees and lower yield. Mind you I will veg these for an additional two weeks before flipping so need to get them bush style quick.

How would you approach correcting these?
As you can see the node spacing is uneven and the main stem is already shooting up.

Topping I feel might add too much veg time so was thinking about Supercropping with LST. Not sure beyond the tallest branches what I would supercrop though. Maybe just supercrop everything I can until it is as flat as I can realistically get it?

Or maybe just throw a trellis net in there and start spreading it out that way?

For a fast turnaround it is too late to do much other than twist em up like a pretzel. You can tie them down and veg the tops to fill out a screen. That is unless you have the patience to re-veg then properly.
If these were gifted to me I would top them about halfway up, clone whatever you can from that, and veg the bottom half under intense lighting to grow them back with tighter nodal spacing. Otherwise these will be every lanky and yield might suck.

Re-veg? They are in veg right now.

Also, by twisting em up like a pretzel do you mean LST the bottom and trellis above that? My only concern is the lower growth would need to be lollipopped later due to less exposure so not sure it would matter. Maybe just put the trellis farther down and bend em all up in the net or is that what you mean in the first place?

Lastly, if you did have more veg time what would you do?

He is correct. Plants are light deficient, over fed, under watered and basically donors for clones until you re grow them under better conditions. I'd top at the 4th or 5th node with sterilized shears. Seal wound with cinnamon. Make clones from tops and veg the base"mother" until it is what you want.

Best wishes.

Yep … beat me to it.
Take cuttings , re root those …. Light them proper and controlling growth thu various training .
Then you can run a proper scrog or run 12/12 SOG grows.

Question : Has “ your friend “ ever taken clones before ?
Hard to believe someone would give you something like this .
Lanky growth , etc.

Wait you are saying the plants don't look recoverable?

Also, my grow area is the "better conditions" as it is sealed and dialed in down to temp, humidity, air flow, co2 (via generator) and 6 x 1000 watt LEDs. I know the stems looked purple, kind of bushy, lanky, etc. but nothing I cannot recover from.

Just honest. No attack. You asked.

Too dark green. Leaves are clawing down while cupping up. Excessive spacing between nodes and sparse foliage.

My sincere advice is learn the basics and forget the fancy parts till then.

Yeah, if I top and train in my environment and give them extra veg time I can shape them up properly and with my lights reduce the nodal spacing.

Yes...
Cut them at the halfway mark and veg them under intense lighting to induce tighter nodal spaces....
Will it take a long time? Fuck yes but you’ll at least get some nice buds at the end as a reward for all your hard work and patience
