Scrog training starts about week 2 of flowering i set the table about 6" above the plants to start with by week two there at the table height after that just keep pushing the tops under the netting, till around week 4 then i leave them be.
I am not a fan of super cropping,to be honest but when i used to do it it was all ways when i wanted to holt height growth down for a week or two,so normally around week's 2/3,flowering when they shoot up in height each day.I have never done it more than once so i could not comment on how many times you can crop in total.
Super cropping to me is like trying to drink a milk shake through a bent straw, the flow of nutrients/water is harder to do,much rather lst or scrog.I have done test on this the up take of feed on the test was the plant that was scrog grown was drinking around 5 ltr a day 24 hour, same has the other, but when i super cropped 1, it cut back the up take to around 2 ltr a day for a week to 12 days, then after that, still stayed at around 3 ltr so it did effect the up take the plant that was not super cropped was in the end drinking 7 ltr every 24 hour.I don't have to tell you what plant produced the largest yeild.
If you are not scrog growing then i would advice ,pulling the side branches and top's over tie them down, and this will give you a nice round plant, pull them to the point just before, there going to give. It's good to start doing this with the side branches during veg,and continue right through to flowering.
But if you are a grower that like's a packed house,a full garden loads of plants in one area, then i would just super crop,i can do the lst because i only do one plant per light. So each plant has plenty of room to be grown in a way that it can be grown so its really wide bush like. There is also plenty of light.
