I know with lst you know tie the branches out but this grow I some what feel I'm struggling for room as they are so bushy. Was wondering has anyone ever trained the plants to grow more in together if that makes sense? I know it's going to grow out naturally anyway so thinking abit of pull and it'll give abit more room. Or has anyone ever pulled side branches in towards the main? Wouldn't say I'm overcrowded but I'd like to veg longer next time as I notice a plant that looked a week ahead durring veg has produced alot better.

1 reason for tying down is to expose more bud sites to light, I'm thinking what you want to do might be counter productive

You can lollipop or mainline them.

You cut the side branches short the second the grow out of the middle stem. and take off any small or outward growth.

That and you veg shortly and usually use a stretchy plant so you get single cola plants that are 1-3 feet tall.

Humbolt nutreints makes "Bush Master". If you use it like the directions say 1ml. gallon it will breaks the plants apical dominance.
If you use 5ml. gallon it will stop your plant from growing. I use it before I flower to stop elongation.

For instance here is a big ol Sativa, had I of not pulled it IN and AROUND and TOWARDS the main stem, I could of never fit it in my space.. it is a bit in distress as a result, but it thrives, if memory serves she was an excellent producer. This is a several foot tall plant, about 10 inches tall.. dig?

I 'THINK' this is the same plant (same pot.. but that is the only pot I use anymore) from a different view.. Now it ain the best, most healthy, most wonderful plant in the world, but it was a fine 'harvestable crop' and by the time I was done I believe she gave me a few ounces of some damn fine stuff and was only one of 4 plants I had stuffed in a 24x18 inch space with a bit of overlap, but no light on that point.. MAKE your plant fit.. it isn't the other way around.
