Been a lurker here, and have outdoor balcony grow experience, but have never grown indoors. I started in the beginning of . I started from bagseed of Trainwreck I got from one of the Bay Area clubs. Had 2 other seedlings, but were infested by Spider Mites. Had 2 other clones, but the roots were horrible and never grew.
I am using the Kelloggs Organic Soil bought from Lowes which contains Bat Guano and chicken manure, and other organic components. I have one Trainwreck plant in a 3x4 foot space. The goal of this is to raise one mother trainwreck to clone, and grow 6 clones. Lets just focus on the one plant. I'm using 6 23watt lights. Five 6500K 23watt bulbs, and 1 2700L 23 watt bulb. I will continue to add more bulbs with Y splitters as needed. All of this is 24 hour light. The temperature varies from 76-83. The humidity ranges anywhere from 33% to 50%.
September 3- Germination
September 4- Tranplanted into cup
September 20- transplanted into 1 gallon pot
October 4- First Signs of Spider Mites
October 9- Spider Mite Infection sets in, discard all other infected plants.
October 10- Spray Neem Oil
October 21- Transplanted into 5 Gallon Bucket with 4 holes on bottom to drain. Discarded infected soil, dowsed with Neem oil.
October 22- Saturated Soil
Questions:
1. Should I buy grow nutrients, and if so, what kind? Where can I get it. Should I use organic nutrients?
2. Spider Mites seem gone, some underleaves, sprayed with neem oil. How long should I keep spraying?
3. Should I raise or lower the chandalier of CFL clamp lights?
4. Should I switch to 18/6? or 12/12?
5. What strategy should I use to make it bushy and tall?
6. Is it worth while to give it CO2?
