Transfer hydro plant to soil

I am looking for any tips or advice regarding issues or problems when transfering a hydroponicly started plant into soil? The PH level in hydro is 5.6 apx. should I raise the ph slowly for the soil? Should I pull away as much rockwool as possible?
I'm new to soil......

never heard of anyone wanting to do that? reason why??
