Transplant & droopy

So last night I transplanted 2 of my girls into they're final container and forgot to water after. I woke up 8hrs later and they are very droopy. I watered right away and turned up the fan to help air circulation. I could include a picture but simply saying droopy explains it enough. From what I've read it should bounce back. Has anyone here experienced this before ?

Did you hydrate the soil you were adding before performing the transplant.
If the soil you added was bone dry out of a bag and not hydrated 1st it will be difficult to get it evenly moist for a while.
Soil added during a transplant that is hydrated and evenly moist will help keep the plant from experiencing transplant shock.

I've never had an issue transplanting with the soil from the bag. I keep my sealed soil bag in my grow room so it gets up to temp and repot with a water. Never failed me. However this time around I forgot to water. So naturally I ran into a problem. It doesn't help that I needed to water the 2 girls before I repotted but meh I don't mind. It's nice to learn how much crap your plant will put up with before causing deficiencies. Thanks for your advice.

Here's how one of my plants looked after transplanting.

After leaving the plant off to the side out of direct light it bounced back. It's the one on the left.
