hey,
I have an outdoor plant about 5 foot, very bushy and healty dark green. It started to show its first signs of buding about a week ago. Now, i have a problem with the location it's in. just wondering if it can be dugg up carefully and re-planted into a tub i got: about 2.5 foot diameter, and about 3 foot high. Would it hurt the plant that bad? This is the only option i can think of right now if I dont want it to disapear.
Thanks.

I had the same problem and I just did it. It should be ok if you break alittle bit of roots just be real careful.

another question, since im taking it out of the ground and its just planted in dirt/soil, what should i fill the tub with: just regular soil, good soil mix, or something like promix?
Thanks

last year i found a plant well into flowering and me and my freind dug it up and moved it without a problem. just dig wide and deep around it, adn if you cant put it in the ground somewhere else then regular soil in your tub will work fine, just pop some holes in the bottom so water can drain. if you have a compost pile soil from that would be even better, but if it already flowering then dont worry about it, fertilizers will do more harm then good at that point

like fdd said you need to get as far an deep around it as possible cut those roots an youur gonna lose grow time...use the good soil when you transplant..but obvosuly it doesn't matter since you see that the dirt is a good medium to..up to you...
