Transplant help

ok so i have 2 new seedlings 1 opened a day before other . They originally started in small planting cups of soil and began seeming like they needed bigger pots soi i just moved them into bigger pots about a gallon size... and plan to move them 1 final time into 5 gallon pots.. the seedling that has always been thriving is still doing well.. while the other.. looks well.. but appears to be lagging behind the other.. just was wondering if this should be alarming at this stage.. or if all seeds just grow at different rates..if its a sign one growing quicker may be male ( heard males can grow faster as a mechanism to drop pollen to the females below who would be slower growing) or if the transplant shocked it maybe.. my concern is.. during the transplant.. the soil sucked and crumbled mostly.. i expected this and kept the roots safe still .. but fear it may have shocked the plant more than its sister.... or am i just paranoid.. the smalle one also has a small yellow spot on lower rounder leaves .. otherwise.. both are completely green and healthy looking .. firsr and third are smaller one.. 2nd and 4th are larger. Sorry for confusion

And sorry in advance for frivilous things.. im sure some of you can relate to paranoia during your first grow in a while.. anxious.. excited.. overwhelming sometimes with lights.. soil.. nutes.. trimming.. pots.. grow rooms.. lol soo ty for not judging

the pictures you show look fine to me. Look like seedlings just starting out. Hope they explode soon

Hey bud, i'm on my first grow as well so take this with a grain of salt, but I literally just did my final transplant today and here's what I would do from the start again. Start in red solo cups or whatever, then directly into the 3 or 5-whateversize you're using pot after it gets too big for the solo cup, then youre done lol. They seem fine to me though.

lol @ metal buckets. The baby looks good but it will be a bitch to transplant from that metal bucket. Solo cups are great the first 10-14 days and easy to transplant from. I snip the rim of the cup at every 1/2 inch then peel the tabs down for a shock free transplant. Just form your transplant hole with another solo cup. Put her in and fill in dirt around the base then gently water it in so the soil settles around the roots.

I had em in some cup size things.. but they werent getting bigger thats why i moved em into these.. the only thing bigger i had lol.. id imagine they did want it though.. the roots were actually already at bottom of the cup.. amazing how these plants grow.. the roots actually grow faster than the top in the beginning lol

My seedlings grow uber fast under the 6000 kelvin T-5's. A 18 oz solo cup is only good for the first 10-14 days.

Here's my approach, peat pods (the ones you fill with water so they expand and drop the seed. As soon as seedlings sprout they go into solo cups. Then to 1 gallon pots. 3 gallon pots. 5 gallon fabric pots. I let the roots tell me when to move up. I feel like keeping in smaller pots helps me personally not over water.

I germinate directly into the solo cup. I place a inverted solo cup on top for a humidity dome the first 48 hours after planting my $10 each seeds. I place the cups on a reptile heating mat to provide warmth to speed germination. You can go from solo cup to a 5 gallon container or larger or directly into the ground. I give them direct sunlight as soon as they sprout then put them under t-12 or a t-5 at night. In two weeks they are fat and ready to transplant.
