Transplant shock on my gelato?¿

I transplanted my gelato into itsfinal home a two gallon no till mix i have. As you can see from the first photo on the first day in her new home she was happy, perky, responsive now shes just kinda droopy. Im thinkin its transplant shock but i could be wrong.Water is ph’d at a range of 5.7-6.8 i slightly watered once when i did transplant, but less than half a gallon of water ran throughthe medium
shes in a foff ammended mix with castings, compost and other good stuff.

FOFF is hot stuff so is castings better to mix in 40-50% perlite to correct this

also 2 usg to too small a standard run of 1 month veg and 2 months bud permits a usable space of 10 liters or 3 usg

but she knows this but not you ..lol

potup to a 3usg water well

do it days end

to continue under the sun/light in the morning

I'd say the drooping is from frequent watering; complied with the transplant.

You may not be overwatering per say, but watering too often.

Let your soil surface do a little drying before you irrigate again. This will allow your roots to have an alternative measure to obtain needed oxygen; other than from the dissolved from in water.

IMO, leave her be; and get her under some light and heat to dry out.

i dont have a set watering schedule, i water just by weight or sticking my index finger all the way to the knuckle, to check medium.
i havent watered this plant in about a little over a week

If you haven't watered it yet and it has been a week then if the plant was thirsty on Tuesday it should be in worse shape now that it was in when the picture taken Tuesday. How does it look now compared to Tuesday?

That seems like good irrigation practice, although I've never had a plant go a week without needing water.

I would attribute watering needs to heat, light and good mix with a high drainage.

Perhaps the drainage of your soil isn't optimal.

weather has been extremely cloudy in my area, lots of overcast days entire month of May wich is why i think this lady hasnt been needing much water, i wanna say days havent gone over 70. Because compared to my other 5 ladies they're just loving every watering ,thirsty little monsters.

edit:
ill post a photo of her when i get back home. also my soil is pretty well aerated 35% pumice or so as well as a decent amount worms digging around.

I'd have to say your problem is lack of evaporation then, which may be leading to lack of oxygen / over saturated roots; the smart pot should help though.

Hopefully June brings you some more optimal conditions; as for me too, my area's been 95+ all week, seedlings can deal with the unnatural spring temperatures.

i think you have too many organic matter in the mix. ffof has enough too last for atleast a month of veg. i would try and flush most of it out. she wont be happy. when i grow ill use a soft mix of ffof with a less hot potting soil let it do its thing for about a month then i start to add my top dressing/amendments. dont wanna have too much at once

here she is right now kinda droopy but i dunno maybe over thinking it, was just tripping on how perky she was to how she dropped once i put her in that 2 gallon. perlites still nice n white so dont think its over watering

I thought if she was thirsty then her leaves would have drooped further from Tuesday's Pic and she looks about the same from what I can tell. Learning the difference between the dry weight and wet weight of the pot is another helpful way to decide when to water.

I'd say you're good to go; keep doing what you're doing, and hope for some warmer weather your way.

Edit:
I pulled some info from wiki( https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Evaporation#Factors_influencing_the_rate_of_evaporation)

Factors that contribute to evaporation:

Relative humidity of your surrounding air
Temperature of soil
Temperature of surrounding air
Atmospheric pressure
Amount of sunlight
Surface area of the soil

Hopefully this sheds more light on your issue.

Dont know many times i have to say this but thats exactly what i do but i guess ill repeat on how i judge to water or not. i use volcanite for my perlite its heavy shit, watering my mix with that already in it is huge difference to letting the pot dry out for about 4-5 days depending on if my plants are thirsty or not. All plants are different,half of my plants tend to love to drink the rest can sit on one watering for almost a week sometimes if not longer. i also forgot to mention i have cover crops on all my plants so soil on the more well developed cover crop tends to dry out quicker. all im trying to say is im pretty sure its not over watering,( not that im not taking your guys input into consideration) heres a blue dream i have running,let me know if you guys think this looks over watered as well.

it's strange how some strains react to watering.....seems many Indica dom strains are very sensitive to watering. Usually after every watering of any of my plants be it veg or flower I put a fan on em and even the Indica dom will perk up....transpiration..

i feel you on that one each has their own personality i guess. i have a dosi do currently and i swear out of all my other her pot always lightens up so damn fast, she just loves to drink. i noticed she was droopy today, as soon as i watered noticed her so perky 20 minutes later
