HEy im about to transplant my plants, and i done my research and all that.
so i was wondering if any of yall use FFOF n Happy Frog
how have your plants turned out on both and if u you recommend another brand of soil
thanks and keep on smokin :lol:bongsmiliebongsmilie:bigjoint::eyesmoke:

I use fox farm Ocean Forest and its really awsome soil. It has seaweed in it that makes your nods closer together that is good for alot of bud sites.

I use 'em both sometimes, and they work great(I usually mix 'em 50/50, and add some extra perlite). You won't have any problems. Get 'em from a local hydro place of you can, 'cause paying shipping is a bitch, on bags of soil.lol(doubles the price)

I'd transplant into straight Ocean Forest. Happy Frog is decent, but it's dense and I judge watering times by weight. I'd add a fat bag of perlite to Happy Frog which will raise the price to damn near that of Ocean Forest, so you might as well do the right thing in the first place. :)

OP, I get my supplies at a supermarket chain called Adams Fairacre Farms, they have a top-notch garden center. They're also the only store within 30 miles of my home that sells it (just so happens, they're bout 500 yards from my house, lol)

Google maps garden centers? I'd go the extra mile for OF, it's pricey ($22 a bag) but nothing beats the quality. I've searched high and low (mostly high) for comparable soil, it just can't be found. Nada.

My advice? Take a road trip and stock up.

edit: one 1.5 sq ft bag will fill (2) 5 gallon buckets perfectly

With Fox farms you will need to add supplemental nutes for veg and bloom. Happy Frogs has everything in it that it will need until flowering when you will need to add a bloom supplement.
