Transplant with Fox farm ocean forest

So I am about 2 months into veg on plants that started outdoors and we're moved to indoor tent.
They are currently in 3 gallon fabric pots with happy frog soil that was mixed with extreme mychoriza / down to earth dry amendments 4-4-4 and 4-8-4 and a bit of seabird guano 0-11-0 ( realize it really didn't need all that for veg especially 4-8-4 and 0-11-0). Soil was a bit hot for them had some dark green leaves and purpling in stems (granted the genetics are purple).

I'm planning to transplant to 5 gallon pots with ocean forest soil next week. Originally had planned to mix the soil with flowering round of dry amendments listed above but am wondering if I should just go with the soil from the bag and top dress those dry amendments later. Will send pics of those plants later. My main concern is I've seen alot of people talk about ocean forest being 'hot' (high nutrient level) out of the bag, so don't want to run into the issue I created with happy frog.

I use fox farm ocean and forest, it has everything you need for veg already inside the dirt but it doesn’t have nutrients for bloom and you could also give it fox farm grow big if it’s lacking I would get some super soil that is basically dirt filled with worm castings when you transplant it into a bigger pot to bloom or you could also use fox farm big bloom and tiger bloom on every 3rd time you water it. Start feeding as soon as you see the first flower.

Good luck getting them out that bag. Suggest using a long knife to go around the circumference of the bag cutting roots free. Remove the bottom of the bag next. Good luck.

5 gallon pot of OF, 1 cup of 444, 1 cup of 284, handful or two of ewc, handful or two of perlite...one week later flip 12/12...a week later (2 weeks total) top dress with 1/2 cup 444, 1/2cup of 284, 1/2 cup of ewc. Repeat again for week 5 then let it run to finish. Take notes and make minor adjustments on next run.

Yeah, I just cut the bag down the sides in 3 places and peel it off.

Thanks for the advice. I'm staying away from liquid nutes (already bought dry). So probably would be good to mix the higher phosphorous amendments to soil. Forgot to mention worm castings we're going to be mixed in and added as top dress as well

You bet. They’re too cheap to do otherwise and screw roots totally up.

So would you generally do early stage of grow in normal pot instead of fabric if you know you'll be transplanting. I had originally intended to just keep em in 3 gallon bag whole way through, but seeing the rate of growth felt like I'd want to move em to larger pot.
