Transplanted from 3G to 7G a >1.5 weeks ago, still nitrogen deficient?

Growing in FFOF + perlite + worm castings with dr. Earth dry amendments.

i am currently about 3 months into vegetation but noticing yellowing of the bottom fan leaves despite adding dry amendment fertilizers (dr earth homegrown)

What is interesting to me is that I just added about 3 gallon more of FFOF (3g to 7g pot transplant about 1.5 weeks ago) but I’m still having yellowing if the bottom fan leaves.

I did a dry amendment tea with bat guano and dr earth home grown two days afo, and notice quite a lot of new growth at the top immediately, but am still having yellowing of the bottom fan leaves.
I’m curious why is this happening? I’ve had about 6-8 yellow fan leaves now. It goes from green to yellow and drops off... then a next set of fan leaves do this. I dont know if it’ll stop anytime soon without me intervening


Also shouldn’t the new 3 gallon of FFOF be sufficient for the next few weeks but its not and is relying on me to add more dry amendment. I wondering if its a PH lock out since ffof is more acidic... thinking of bu

Its definitely not a N deficiency. Looks like it was n tox at some point. Looks more like a micro nute problem imo

Whats your input and runoff PH. Sounds like the buffers in the soil are failing. Its a consistent issue I've noticed with FFOF.

Sometimes those old leaves on the bottom just take a shit....they don't get much light anyway. Looks healthy and new growth is good. Won't have to top dress for a while. What's with the wait on flipping to flower?

still waiting for the tent to fill up. I had 2 other males which extended the vegetation

Yeah, that shit can happen, and when it does, get you a big knitting needle, and poke the shit all around the base of stem, and then pour a half gallon of feed slowly around the base of the stem, and that will make the root-ball all happy n' shit!

i had the same problems with almost the same situation come to find out i was feeding with like a 4.5 ph the whole time they barely made it to harvest i have since remedied the situation with ph up and a good meter

Im going to try this. I do notice that the “root ball” i transplanted from the previous pot is pretty hard at the surface, water doesnt really absorb there but rolls off it to the sides of the pot and drains where the new soil is located. Maybe the rootball is so hard.. i didnt try much to break up the roots when i transplanted, since the bottom soil fell on the floor i didnt think it was root bound. Thanks for the tip, will return in a few days for update

I’m not sure if its helping too much, more yellowing of the bottom fans today. Top growth still looks good... planning to flip to flower next week but not sure if i need to dial something in... starting to think its pH thats locking nitrogen out.

is it possible to feed nitrogen and the plant will take the nitrogen, but it wont take nitrogen from soil if its locked out?

When I look at the pics I see dark green lower leaves and light green top leaves.

A combination of lighting intensity and magnesium deficiency (mild) is what I think I see.
