Hello yall
I have 3 plants that I planned on Vegging all winter I started them from seed 2 months ago plan was to vig em then come outdoor plant time I would have like 3 or 4' plants to start with. Well 2 months in and they are 2' tall in a 1 gallon pot I bought Fox Farms Ocean Forrest soil gonna mix that with 30% perlite and transplant them into 5 gallon pots built a indoor flower room so these pots should take em all the way thru.

Question How do I do it? I started the plants in cheap super soil do I knock the roots clean and plant in the FF or just pull it out with the super soil and put the whole ball in the 5 gal pot then add my ff around it?

Thanks in advance

Fill your 5 gallon 2/3rds full with fox farms, make sure you haven't watered that helps me so the soil is dry and close to water schedule, with your 5 gallon bucket in the floor take your other pot your plant is in, put the stalk of the plant in between your index and middle finger and turn the pot upside down. Work the pot real slow off the root ball and just let the bucket fall to the floor so you can use that hand to support the bottom of the root ball. Now upright the plant supporting the rootball with one hand and the stalk between the fingers on the other hand. Place the plant in the bucket, fill in around the sides of the root ball and a little bit on top. You have now transplanted your kids! Hope that helps. A 5 gallon bucket will easily support most 6 footer plants

Dude Man , I think that if you started a plant in the winter time to put outside for spring and summer I don't think that plant will do very well.A :leaf: plant has only so long of a life cycle and by extending that past what is normal , may turn out to be a disipointment for you.I mean think about it Dude , old age is a bitch , and that plant will be 11 months old in October , it won't know if it needs to die , flower or shit in a bed pan. When the days start getting shorter it's gonna stress , it won't be as able to handel everything that God may throw at it outside or inside too ... I'm no genius ( although I have read , a breif history of time by Steven Hawking )I just think that your plant is going to exspire before smoking time ... If you have 2' tall plants now , I might go to 12/12 light cycle and bud thoes bad girls now ... Start your outside plants in march or april and you should have happy and healthy plants come october ... IMO , I don't know the recipe , I'm just sayin' ...

Or........ If you know for a fact you got females, you can Veg em til march,(depending on local climate for your location and have monster to stick outside that will be done by mid June. Ain't nothin like seeing a outdoor over 8ft in diameter and 15 ft tall;)
