Transplanting from rock wool to soil

SO I just transplanted my plants from rock wool to soil. Do the plants dry out quicker when they are in rock wool? Do i need to treat them any differently because of the rock wool? Is there anything I should know about rock wool?

Sounds correct...

just water the dirt thoroughly..

are you pHing your water?

did the cube have visible roots coming from the bottom or the sides?

cheers

Yes the cubes had roots going through the bottom. The plant already has big fan leaves. What is ph-ing the water? And I just put them in Friday, and already they are drooping and looking horrble. This happened the last time I put them in fox farm soil too. What is going on? They looked great when I picked them up, one day later they are drooping. You think they just need a thorough watering? Thanks for your help!

keep the cube moist for at least the first week of planting .... yes the first watering after you plant the cube into the soil should be a SERIOUS soaking... and then o more water for 3-10 days, depending on room temp..

ph - pH Water - See More Buds

cheers

should be fine, how big of a cube you are using? i've done this with 4x4 and 6x6 cube a few times already shouldn't be any problem once the roots get settled into the surrounding soil, then after that you won't have to worry about your cube looking dry and having to water.
