I have a lady that is 1 month into flowering but is still in a 6in pot. it is time to transplant. the soil i am using now i can no longer get. so my question is if i get a different soil than i am using now will it be bad to transplant and add more soil but of a different kind. i have no clue what soil i was using so i cant match another up to it. i am thinking of getting fox farms of some sort. what do i do?

nah you should be just fine with this. My only suggestion is get a very basic soil, alot of fox farm (such as ocean forest) has alot of micro nutes premixed in to slow release with water. This type of soil will allow you to veg completely without any nutrients, adding nutrients to this soil is a potential nute burn hazard if your not careful and aware of the situation.

My next mix will start with "PRO MIX". i will need to go to co-op and its $30 for 3 qb ft. bail, you will not run out soon but i use it for all my plants in-out doors. but the day you transplant, mix HOT water with it and let set with top over it .DON'T OVER WATER! get the mix not dry but not wet, just right. then do your thing. keep on reading as i will. Fox farms is not in this town so will order when time is o.k. keep on planten!!

I'd do ocean forest by fox farm, and since you're flowering, I'd go very easy on the nutrients. I'd even start the flower nutes at a low dose maybe 2 weeks after transplant.

I disagree. Though to each his own. Ocean forest is the only soil that has ever given me any kind of problems.
Sunshine mix is what I like best, nice and basic. If I want extras in my dirt, I want to know how much and what.

It definitely takes getting familiar with in regards to transplanting. I gotta say though, for planting seeds, oh yeaaa! You don't have to do anything for the first month but water. No muss no fuss.
