Transplanting on day one of flip

My plants are looking a little big for their 3 gallon pots. Not horribly oversized, only about 18 inches. Would it be wise to repot or just let them go in their current 3 gallon pots. Will I run into problems later on?

I ended up having to transplant a couple days after flip cause i realized my pots were just to small and they stalled out. A week later they are doing great.

If I veg for 5 weeks in a one gallon... O can take them through in a 3 gallon and at the end they don't look like they are root bound. I do 12 under a 1000 in 3 gallons

I might try to only veg 3 weeks and keep them in one gallons through bloom. More will fit under my 1000. It'll be an interesting experiment. I've vegged in solo cups for 4 weeks before they're root bound and needing nutes
